TabTrade Broker Review - The Good and the Catch
TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
His background tells you something. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But preferable to a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities institutional desks use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that coverage is broad.
The Software
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is offered for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That will make the platform set when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. $0 to start. Works for beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The execution is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the part that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not make it safe. It should factor into how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
